How to know if its a Designer Dress
Distinguish between a gown & a dress is largely one of semantics and personal choices. The word "gown" tends to refer to more formal garments, like those worn for weddings, proms or balls. A "dress" can be any one-piece garment with a skirt of any length, and can be either formal or informal. While many gowns are referred to as dresses, like those worn to a wedding or prom, people seldom hear less formal garments referred to this way. For example, a sun dress is never a sun gown. Basically dress is more of a general category term that people use to address outfits where as gown is more specific term and refers to a formal evening wear long length outfit mostly worn during formal events. Alternatively you can call gown a dress as it's a general term but you can't address a dress as a gown because it is more specific to it's category. A dress can be anything right from a short mini dress, to a midi to a maxi dress. Whereas gowns are more more specially categorised as ball gowns, cocktail gowns, fish cut gowns, trail gowns and so on..
Usually dresses are best friend for ramp walk, and its so that from the style or print of dress one can recognise the designer. One of the best dress is LBD the little black dress, it works for all occasion and is a must have in a girls closet.
So the main Unique point for Designer Dresses
is the designer who will turn a simple idea of single piece outfit to classic outfit. By just adding few prints or changing the silhouette, the dress completely changes as how the dress will fall or how will it look.
