3 Reasons Why Your Should Remove Dead Trees
Posted: Jan 07, 2020
You might have an old favourite tree in your yard or garden, its been there forever but over the past few months it appears to have died, its shedding it leaves and a few small branches have come down on their own, whilst you might be tempted to leave it there as its just easier, you'd be wise to get onto your local arborist or tree and stump removal specialist as the cost of not removing it could be severe. Read on to learn the top 3 reasons why a dead or dying tree should be removed as soon as possible and the reasons why you shouldnt delay.
1 - It's Dangerous & A Threat To Your & Your Family
A dead tree or tree with dead branches can be very dangerous as large heavy branches can come down at any time. This is a serious danger to any person, animal or piece or property nearby, they can come down hard and fast without much warning and you wont have time to react, this could happen on a still day or when there's strong winds, either way its a danger and you must take it seriously. We'd suggest keep all humans, especially kids, and animals away from the tree until it's at least been inspected by a qualified arborist who can tell you what the condition of the tree is and whether its safe or not.
2 - It Can Infect Other Trees
Your tree may be dead or dying and it may have been cause by an infestation of insects, especially termites can do a lot of damage from the inside out and you wont even know theyre there until its too late. Whilst its bad enough to lose one tree there's a real risk they can spread to surrounding trees and kill of your entire yard and this would obviously be a complete disaster. Your best bet is to hire a qualified arborist who can assess and give you the best course of action and let you know if the tree can be save, some branches removed or if the whole thing must be remove immediately.
3 - It Will Leave Your Garden Looking Bland & Bleak
If you take pride in the appearance of your garden having a dead tree in the center of it will make it look bland and bleak. dead trees become worse overtime and once they've lost all their leaves, branches can start to fall, and the trunk can change colour, basically an eye-soar in a nutshell. Worse still, the longer you leave it there the more the surrounding garden will grow around it and then you'll have to cut back this garden to get access to the tree, its best to do this before the surrounding garden starts to take over.
So if you've got a dead or dying tree, dont just ignore the problem as it will likely cause you more issues in the long run, reach out and get a qualified tree and stump removal company to come and take a look at it and potentially remove it, itll be worth it in the long run, will potentially save you a lot of time, money and even the life of a loved one.
