Tips to arrange a prefect Non-alcoholic Wedding Reception

Wedding Reception means the beginning of a new celebration with your loved ones and you can have several alternatives to organize the wedding reception. Being a wedding planner, I am sharing some of my ideas related to Non-alcoholic Wedding reception arrangments.

1. Arrange a Wedding Reception in Day Light: It is much easier to plan a wedding reception in daylight, as you can avoid lighting and alcoholic beverages.
2. Design a Non-alcoholic Menu: Now it is decided that, the wedding reception will take place in late morning or afternoon, you can pick a non-alcoholic menu, to do so.
1. Use Bar setup and ask the bartender to arrange a menu that says " No to Alcohol".
2. There are many ways to make a cocktail and let your guests try something new.
3. This will eventually allow some non-alcoholic people to gather around the bar and socialize with each other.
4. Be extravagant and offer some amazing food: Food is the only option to impress your guests at the non-alcoholic wedding reception.
1. Added different variety of dishes on the menu and let your guests feel good.
2. Use your creative mind and attractively present your food like using a desert bar to represent the menu.
3. Add some events in your Wedding Reception: As it non-alcoholic reception, you need to cheer your guests on your own, to do so, arrange some hosting games, contests throughout the day and above all guests can win some prizes. Example: a pool table, arcade games, etc.
3. Top class Entertainment: Just hiring a DJ to play music is not good enough. You need to add something new :
1. Add Stand-up Comedy Section
2. Live Dance Performances
3. It is different and surprising for your guests to see a comedian or a Dance performance at a wedding reception. As they will be expecting a DJ to play music only.
4. Engage your self with your guests: Try to introduce some guests to each other and this will allow them to start a conversation & make a friendly environment.
4. Host your Dance Party: You’ll be amazed after seeing the people's reaction and how many of them try to avoid the dance floor. Since they can’t fall back on alcohol to give them a boost of confidence, they might need to loosen up and get dancing. Consider hosting a short dance class from a local teacher instead. This can be a fun way for everyone to learn a few dances moves together and then move on to the dance floor. Many salsa dance and ballroom dancing schools offer on-location workshops and one-day teaching programs that would work perfectly for your guests. Consider hiring a local teacher to lead the class so everyone feels comfortable and can walk away with a new set of skills.

Arranging non-alcoholic wedding reception might not be appealing for some people but if the bride and groom are feeling positive with arrangement, it will be worth to apply efforts and you need to be creative and patient while arranging reception and welcoming your guests, as if everything goes perfect it will be a rememberable wedding reception for everyone.
