What is the difference between MBA and PGDM?

The basic difference between MBA and PGDM is that the former is a Master’s degree course, while the latter is a diploma course. now you may state that what is the benefit of doing a diploma course? The answer is that even though PGDM is a diploma course, it is much advanced than that of MBA courses. As MBA courses cannot be modified as it is a Master’s degree and even for a slight modification, it would take years to establish it. on the other hand, PGDM courses are diploma courses, and hence the college itself can modify the course and introduce new concepts in the syllabus. Due to this reason, many colleges are providing PGDM courses instead of MBA courses. though the syllabus of both the courses is pretty same, the difference is that PGDM is much advanced than the MBA.
