The yellow-and-pink paint scheme of the houses and the striped fishing boats add a touch of colour, creating an atmosphere that is friendly, vibrant and scenic without being twee.

Spending a holiday in this lovely region also provides plenty of opportunity to people-watch or play a boat-spotting game with the numerous yachts moored along the coast.
