For people who are true adventurists, Nassau is a place that one cannot say no to! The capital of Bahamas is all about serenity and amusement, where one can unwind their mind during a most-needed vacation.

Nassau is home to many popular beaches. Mile of pretty, white sand, 300-days of sunshine and crystal-clear water of the place makes it a haven for every beach lover. Ensure to make your Volaris reservation as soon as possible to start your journey to the land of Paradise Island.

Excited about your tour? Here are a few exciting things that you can do in Nassau –

  1. A visit to the Queen’s Staircase

The 66 steps connecting downtown Nassau and Fort Fincastle is a tourist attraction that you should not miss out on. The story behind the stairs is quite interesting. Hundreds of slaves took months to curve the historical 600-foot tall staircase. It is made out of limestones and was built between the years 1793 and 1794. Years later, it was renamed in the Honor of Queen Victoria.

If you are someone with a knack for ancient monuments, you can climb the ancient staircase and reach Fort Fincastle. The castle sits on the highest point of the New Province Island in Bennett’s Hill.

  1. Explore Nassau Beaches

When at Nassau, you can just never say no to beaches. There are several beaches for occasions of any kind! Whether you just want to have some fun on the beach or just looking for some quiet time – there is always a beach for you.

Beach fun in Nassau beaches should be termed as "days of your life". There is everything – from snorkeling to scuba diving and swimming, from windsurfing to kayaking, jet skiing, deep-sea fishing and sailing – you can do everything.

  1. Fell in Love with the Sharks at Stuart’s Cove

This one's not for the faint-hearted and we are not even kidding! You can swim with Sharks at Stuart's Cove. This place, however, is not as popular as it should be – but the cozy cove manages to be bustling with activities all the time.

If you are a beginner, you can get driving lessons. And if you are an experienced diver, you get to swim with sharks. Isn't that just amazing? For the experienced ones, there are many other activities for you to indulge in Stuart’s Cove.

  1. Explore A Little History of The Bahamas At Clifton Heritage National Park

For history buffs, this is the best place to be in. The museum is all about the Bahamas, its history, culture, education, and growth over time. The park consists of some of the most exciting things – from wetlands of rocks to white-sand beaches and dunes. But the most mesmerizing part of all these is the replica homes of the Lucayans. The Lucayans are the original populaces of the island.

  1. Explore the City of the Rays

Now when we say that, we do mean Stingrays. There is a park named Stingray City solely dedicated to the gentle and playful Southern Stingrays. Don’t worry – they are not as brutal as the ones with the barbed tails. The playful ones in Nassau will even ask for a kiss on its forehead. So go ahead, have fun!
