In this article, we’ll be discussing some of the common Disney Plus errors that are piling up since the launch of Disney Plus and their fixes.

With millions of people trying to connect to Disney Plus at the same time, there’s bound to be few errors.

What to do if you can't log in to Disney Plus or watch anything at all?

Here are some of the common Disney Plus Errors along with their Fixes.

Error 83: Unable to connect to Disney+

This error commonly occurs when thousands of people are using Disney Plus at once. This means that Disney Plus servers are down at the moment.

In a recent tweet, Disney+ admitted to the problem and vows to resolve them as soon as possible.

But in the meantime, you can try some fixes that might solve your problem.

You should log out, close the app, and then login again.

You can also check on your internet connection or router settings to see if that’s the problem.

Or you can even try connecting Disney Plus on different devices, like on your mobile phone, tablet, or Smart TV.

This error also occurs when you’re using a VPN that gets easily detected by Disney servers.

Sorry, Disney+ is not available in your country

Disney Plus is currently available in US, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand.

So, if you are trying to access Disney Plus from outside of these countries, you will face a geo-restriction error that says it is not available in your country.

Don’t worry, there’s an easy fix to it and that is by connecting to a VPN service.

Now, I have tried many VPNs, but the one that works fine with Disney Plus is Surfshark.

Just open the app and connect to a US server. Once you do that, open the Disney Plus website in Incognito mode. Enter Username and Password. Select any video to stream to see if it works perfectly.

Error 39: The video you are trying to watch cannot be watched at this time. It could be due to rights availability or other issues with Disney+

This error normally occurs when you try to stream Disney Plus on Xbox One. To fix this error, make sure you are not connected to Disney Plus to any other platform or a device like PC, Mobile, or on a tablet.

This hack clearly worked for me.vYou can try another solution like changing an HDMI port on your TV to Xbox. This is a simple solution but works all the time.

Error 41: We’re sorry, but we cannot play the video you requested

Error 41 appears when thousands of people try watching the same show at once. This increases the traffic spike on Disney Plus servers. For example, The Mandalorian TV Series has gained immense popularity and if everyone’s watching this show at the same time, it will definitely cause problems. To solve this problem, you need patience more than anything.

Error 42: Please check if you are still connected to the internet and try again.

This is one of the most frequent error codes you will see on Disney Plus. Here are some of the common fixes to the problem.

Try connecting your device through a wired connection

And if the above two solutions doesn’t fix your problem, try contacting the Disney Plus support team because you won’t find a thorough solution to this problem.

Error 76: We’re currently experiencing slow Internet connection speeds

If you think this error indicates to your slow internet connection speed, then you’re entirely wrong. This error occurs when Disney Plus servers are down.

This normally takes a few minutes to resolve. Try refreshing the video you are trying to stream again and again. Eventually, you will find your luck and it will stream just fine.

Error 83

Error 83 is one of the most errors when using Disney Plus. It doesn’t specify exactly why this error occurs but we have some common assumptions as to why that is.

Error 83 is the result of Server Timeout and Incompatible Platform.

You can try multiple fixes. If you’re streaming on your iPhone, you might want to switch to LTE and turning off your Wi-Fi and vice versa.

A better solution that I found was, you can switch to another device for watching Disney Plus.

There are some devices that Disney Plus doesn’t support yet such as Linux. If you try installing Disney Plus on Linux in other ways, you will probably find this error.

This might not be a satisfying workaround, but that is all we have for now.

Error 86: Your account has been blocked

Error 86 is not a pretty sight if you ask me, but this error normally indicates that your account has been banned due to a violation of their terms of service or because your account was one of those that were hacked just after the launch.

You don’t have to worry about it because this problem has an easy fix. You just need to re-activate your account by contacting their customer service or just change your password altogether.

So, these were the common Disney Plus error with their fixes. Always remember that if everything here fails to solve your problem, just contact their customer service number: 888-905-7888 or email them on disneyplushelp@disney.com

This is all we have for now. If you think you are facing a new kind of error, please let us know in the comment section.
