I'm really leaning towards not whatsoever. Not although I would probably them add a option of nicknames is fine by me. I believe that they can not do that with the amount of 2K MT voice acting. If that's the case, I'd prefer the 2K10-2K13 narrative that was simple but still plenty of fun also allows more room. I recall that! The pre draft interviews were wonderful. They would still need to record every person who mentions your player's name saying every secondary nickname. Can definitely be a wonderful touch if they could pull off it! 2K leaning hard into creating MyCareer a legitimate RPG experience, which is something I like (I am also an avid participant of DnD, so this is my market ). That being said, they should seperate MyCareer and Park the men and women that want to play competitive can do so without the unneeded cutscenes, and folks like me who like a story based mode that's heavy on the story (I also love Metal Gear btw) can enjoy that experience too. I would like an RPG expirience if the narrative was not simple and overly debilitating to get through, while this is unpopular I almost wish they did not have voice acting so they could have dialouge and cause it to be more customizeable.

I agree with you 100 percent (particularly when it comes to 2K16/18/19), but I think the criticism for this years story is a little unfair. I liked it I just wish there was more to it. I really feel like I've tapped out all of the cutscenes in roughly 30 games, due to that and I have touched MyCareer within a few months. Yeah 2K20 has a fine story but they really need to drop the nicknames, and it taps out way too soon, in a 13 year career you receive half a season of story.

Just get rid of almost all the cut scenes. The amount of development time which goes that nobody wants to sit through is such a waste which could enter other parts of NBA 2K21. I enjoyed it. Albeit annoying to replay each time you create a brand new player, it can at least be jumped. I believe it to have attracted additional value to the $60 game that is differently rinse and repeat sports drama, also provided me with hours of amusement I might have instead spent $100+ for at the movies, golf course, bar, etc.. Like they would have spent that time incorporating something like, a neighborhood that is brand new, it's not.The MyLeague part of Cheap NBA 2K MT has gotten quite stale and in need of a complete revamp to bring it back up to normal. The contents haven't really changed ever since earlier besides one or two or 2K16 features being removed/added that aren't really significant. Personally, I think we want a far more realistic sim engine since I see teams that are good not even make the playoffs or shed in the first round to the seed 4-0. This also make it much more engaging to determine your good teams be rewarded fairly and could add realism.
