Children are always cheerful, joyful, and playful. They love to involve in fun activities with their families and friends. They play many games like racing, hopscotch, snakes and ladders, Pictionary, and other brain games. Childhood is full of enjoyment, freedom, and creativity, where children can explore all kinds of co-curricular activities and learn a lot.

Many children like cycling, running, skipping, and jumping. These activities are a mixture of the games they play daily. When buying a cycle for kids aged between five and seven years old, parents usually choose from reputed brands that offer durability, quality, and stability. They trust the product and have faith that it will not deteriorate quickly. Also, many brands offer unique features that aid in the growth of these kids.

But there are various brands and models available which often confuse customers. The size of the kids cycle is one of the most crucial elements while shopping. It involves the diameter of the cycle wheel, the height of the rider, and the seating posture. Children between five to seven years can get a 16-inch bike. They can easily mount or dismount from it and maintain a flat foot while straddling it. The seating posture should provide them with comfort and leave enough room for pedaling. They must also ensure adequate proximity between the waist and the handle to be able to steer smoothly.

Following are additional points to remember while shopping:

  • Check the bike’s weight against other brands and models. Choose the lighter one.
  • Ensure the brakes work correctly, and the child is comfortable while operating them.
  • Consider checking for safe stopping and designs where the child can pedal comfortably.
  • Pick the right size according to the child’s weight, height, and other measurements.

Like cycles, kids are also fond of many other vehicles, which include ride-on cars. They love to roam in it and enjoy the ride. Many parents purchase it with the hope that it will last longer. They can purchase from a store or even online. The first step after getting the car home is to check the box and the product for damages during shipment. Sometimes, the mishandling of parcels leads to faults in the product. Customers can report the issue and return the product to the courier person on the spot. The company can also arrange for a replacement at the earliest.

Secondly, look for the user manual inside the box and follow the guidelines mentioned for assembly and operation. It will help customers put together their car model and guide them on how to maintain it. Ensure the wheels have pins to secure them to the axle and insert them correctly.

Thirdly, check how to insert and operate the batteries. In kids ride-ons, they are disconnected and provided separately in the package. Hook a few wires while fixing them, most commonly the red and the white wires, to ensure smooth functionality. After completing all these steps, charge the car. Use 6V batteries for at least eight hours and ensure a full charge to maintain battery health. For proper battery care, run the car until it is completely dead. Charge when the motor starts losing power, which is an indication of a low battery. Explore features like the MP3 player, remote control, etc.
