University of St AndrewsEstablished in the year 1413, the University of St Andrews is Scotland’s 1st university and the 3rd-oldest university in the English speaking world. It sits in the heart of the east coast town and offers over 900-degree courses across four faculties: Arts, Divinity, Medicine, and Science. It has a diverse student population with half of the students coming from 120 different countries. Another good thing about St Andrews is that the university has some of the lowest drop-out rates in the country.
