Installing Apps Using Winstall
- First and foremost, you have to install the Winstall third-party utility on your computer. Without using it, you cannot install apps on a computer using the command line.
- To install this utility, register yourself for the “Windows Package Manager insider program.”
- After that, use the Microsoft Store to install the Windows Package Manager update to your computer.
- Then navigate to GitHub and quickly download and install “Windows Package Manager appxbundle” on your computer.
- Now you have downloaded and installed Winstall successfully on your computer.
- Now open your favorite internet browser.
- Visit the Winstall official website.
- Click on the search bar located above to find the application that you want to install.
- Once you find the app, click on the + button to add it to the download list.
- Similarly, you can find and select the other app you want to install.
- Once you are satisfied with the apps list you have selected, click on the button that reads “generate script” from the bottom.
- The website will show you commands to install all these applications to your device using the command line. All you have to do is copy all of these commands from it.
- After that, open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Paste the commands and hit the enter button.
- Please wait for the process to finish on its own.
- It will automatically find, download, and install the app on your device.
