Equipment: food processor, gas conveyor pizza oven

Ingredients:

For pizza crust:

  • Oil spray
  • large eggs 4
  • tablespoons water 2
  • teaspoon garlic powder 1
  • teaspoon onion powder 1
  • teaspoon dried oregano 1
  • cup coconut flour (1 oz) 1/4
  • tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (1 oz) 6

For Topping:

  • cup marinara sauce 1/2
  • cup shredded part-skim mozzarella (4 oz)1
Direction:

First of all, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Now, the oven and broiler-safe pizza pans with parchment paper and spray it with olive oil.

After that, in a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the water, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried oregano.

Make sure to measure out the coconut flour and break up any lumps with your hands. Stir the coconut flour into the egg mixture. Try to make the mixture until it becomes smooth.

Now, use a rubber spatula to mix in the Parmesan cheese.

Let the mixture rest and thicken for a couple of minutes. Letting it rest for minutes will allow the coconut flour to soak up the liquid.

Using a rubber spatula, transfer half of the mixture onto the prepared pans. Make sure you are spreading it evenly. Try to use a spatula to spread it out equally into an 8-inch circle.

Bake the pizza until the edges are beginning to brown, and it will take 10-15 minutes. If the middle of the pizza is still light at this point, it is okay.

Remove the pizza from the oven and switch the oven to broil. Position the top oven rack 6 inches below the heating element.

Spread the pizza with half the pizza sauce, sprinkle with half the shredded mozzarella, and add any other toppings you like.

Broil the pizza until the cheese melts and the crust is golden brown, and it will take 2-3 minutes. Now, take the pizza and serve it hot with the sauce you like.

When I want to make cake style doughnuts, I usually make them with biscuit dough. I learned to love these because my mom made them when I was a child.
