The players of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands have lost in the game once again. Players have to complete a huge number of levels once again to hit the final level. Compared to the previous series, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is way more advanced and packed with more difficulties. Developers have added some new mechanics in the game to make the game more interesting. Among several new mechanics, the most important one is Renown, which can be collected for the four Covenants in the afterlife of Azeroth. Players need to have a good collection of Renown, so here is the guide to enhance it.

The Renown Cap

Before stepping into the field of searching for Renown, players should know the limit of Renown that can be collected. There’s a cap on how much players can collect Renown in a week. Some of the players favor this feature, while some don’t want to limit this essential item of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. So here is the guide to collect Renown.

Step 1: The Covenant’s Story

The easiest and most direct way to gather Renown is by progressing the Covenant’s story. The process is pretty simple and straightforward for any player of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The Covenant’s story is a major part of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and players can’t ignore it when it’s in front.

The story is pretty simple, but it will ask players to complete several dungeons and quests. In the story, players have to save several NPCs and reach several areas to progress the game. While playing the story, players will earn Renown that can be used on several characters.

Step 2: Torghast and Anima

Apart from Covenant’s story, there are two more ways to obtain Renown. The first one is taking a short trip to the Torghast tower and saving some lost souls from Maw. During the task, players have to find and capture plenty of souls.

Another way to gather Renown is to collect Anima. After collecting plenty of Anima, players can send it to Covenant’s realm. Anima doesn’t just provide Renown but also offers energy, currency, and a few more things that are valuable in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Step 3: Catchup

After following all the ways mentioned above, the final way to help players get Renown is by playing the endgame activities. There are plenty of activities in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands that players can use to earn resources. The activities like Callings, Raids, and Dungeons are some basic yet important activities that can help players.

Even after following all these ways, players can only obtain a certain Renown number in a single day. The past Renown cap can’t be boosted too through all these procedures. Players have to work daily to earn the maximum number of Renown.

Conclusion

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is packed with several types of resources, abilities, characters, and weapons. Every type of thing is separated into many different levels. If a player wants to unlock character or weapons, they have to defeat the bosses and finish major missions. While collecting items like Renown, players have to focus on the storyline, side missions, and some basic ways.
