Ingredients Needed to Make Dough

  • 2 cups warm water
  • A teaspoon of sugar
  • 4 cups flour, all-purpose
  • 2 ½ teaspoons of salt
  • Extra virgin Olive oil
Necessary Ingredients for the Topping
  • 14 ounces peeled whole tomatoes
    • spoon of dried oregano (crumbled)
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Fresh pepper
  • 2 pounds mozzarella (chopped)
  • 100 ml tomato sauce
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 2 onions
  • 1 Spoon chili flakes
  • 100 gm processed cheese

Following this recipe will take a preparation time of 10 minutes and 20 minutes for baking in a hot oven. It will make a 12-inch pizza that will help eight people easily.

Directions or Instructions Checklist Step 1: Preparing Pizza Dough

Take a large bowl, then add the flour in it. Then add salt and baking powder to it and knead the flour once. Make a groove in the middle and put one tablespoon of olive oil in it. On the other side mix the yeast with 1/2 cup warm water and sugar and let stand until foam, about 10-15 minutes. This will help the yeast to rise. When it has risen enough, add it to the well-mixed dough. Transfer the dough to a kneading tray and brush all over with olive oil. Cover the container with plastic wrap and set it aside for a while. Knead again, now it's ready.

Step 2: Prepare the Base

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Now that the dough is ready take out the time to make the pizza base. Dust the space lightly with dry flour and add a large amount of pizza dough. Beat down and divide into 4 pieces. Make each piece into a ball. Grease each ball with oil and transfer it to a baking sheet. Using a rolling pin, roll it down into a nice round base. Make sure the base is even at all the ends. You can use a fork to pierce the base to make sure it won't rise again and bake easily.

Step 3: Chop and Prepare the Vegetables

Meanwhile, wash the vegetables and chop finely. Transfer the tomatoes to a food processor or beat in a food processor until chopped. Mix the oregano with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper. Peel an onion and cut it and mushrooms into pieces. When all the vegetables are done, grate the cheese and mozzarella.

Step 4: Spread the Toppings

Spread 1/4 cup tomato puree over the dough until 1 inch at the edges. Spread one-fourth of the cheese over the pizza and fill with 1 tablespoon of oil. Season with salt, pepper, and all other vegetables. Add the cheese again and slide the pizza into the pan. Bake until the bottom is light brown and the cheese has melted, in about 8 minutes. Repeat with the remaining dough and toppings.
