I have been working hard and for long hours for the past some months, which made me very irritated. I was looking to chill out for a while and relax. After completing all my pending projects at the office, I finally decided to go on a trip to my favorite destination and take a much-needed break. When an individual works in a corporate office, it is never easy to get leaves, but my head knew how much I have worked in the past some months. He understood my situation and granted me permission for leaves. As soon as I got the approval, I made my bookings for 'Barcelona.'

Barcelona is one of the most stunning places in the world. The day finally arrived. I boarded my flight to Barcelona and took a cab from 'Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport' to my hotel 'El Palace.' There are many best hotels where one can stay. I decided to stay in El palace, but there are many other hotels that an individual can choose from.

The first point of Barcelona that I explored was ‘Palau de la Música Catalana.’ This in English means palace of Catalan music. I was so delighted to see this palace. I have never seen a more beautiful place in my life. This palace has the best architectural features. This palace presented the most famous and known musicians. I took so many pictures here as no number of shots were enough to capture this palace's beauty. Another place which is a must-visit when in Barcelona is 'Montjuïc Castle.' This is one of the perfect places for sightseeing. After visiting these places, I headed to eat something. I tried many places and loved all the food that I tried in Barcelona.

These are some of the best cafes and restaurants in Barcelona. I tried Italian, Spanish food and desserts too.

Apart from these places of Barcelona, there are many other landmarks too which one should not miss. I love spending some time at church as they are so peaceful. So, I visited the most known church of this place called 'La Sagrada familia.' This church is made in gothic style, and the fact that I thought is most interesting about this church is that it is under construction for so many years. It is believed that it will still take some years to complete. I got to know about this fact from some of the locals in Barcelona.

The favorite thing about Barcelona is the way this city is constructed and its architecture. I explored most of this destination on foot as this is the best way to discover endless things about this city. I roamed around the streets of Barcelona, and I was awe-struck to see how beautiful this city was. I could never imagine a place to be so beautiful. Another place to enjoy when here is at the La Barceloneta beach. I was looking to chill out a bit, and the beach is the best place for that. The only problem that I faced in this city was the language. People here speak Spanish, which I did not know. So, one can use the translator app and use it.

I can say my trip to Barcelona will always be the most memorable trip of my life. It became even more relaxing and comfortable as I made Qatar Airways Reservations. So, I didn't face any issues even on the flight. I am hoping to revisit this city sometime.
