Travelling can be very chaotic and we all need to go through it every day. Whether it is travelling to your workplace or studying in university, travelling too much can hamper your skin that can cause blemishes. This is where your boring face wash won’t be enough to repair it.

Everyday travel means that your skin is constantly exposed to sun and pollution, leaving it exhausted, so here are different ways by which you can repair your skin during your daily commuting.

Skin care routine Protect your skin with sunscreen Make sunscreen your best friend, so do not step out without applying a layer of it, and repeat this process after three or four hours. When you commute you are constantly exposed to sun harmful rays that can cause pigmentation, tanning, premature signs of ageing and dark spots.

It is important to choose a sunscreen with at least a protection factor of 30 and above, the higher the factor, the higher will your skin be protected from harmful UV rays.

You can even add accessories like scarves and caps while out as it becomes even more important especially when you travel with public transport or a two-wheeler. These pieces of clothing work as a shield between sun rays, dirt and your skin. So make sure every time you step out apply a layer of sunscreen.

Apply a touch of detox mask It is important that you make use of a detox mask as it helps in keeping your skin hydrated and removes all the toxins that are fed every day to your skin. Try to add these masks once or twice to your skin care routine. You can add clay, charcoal and other ingredients that help in deep cleaning of your pores thus rinsing out all the toxins. It is also important that after detoxifying with a mask you feed your skin the necessary nutrients or antioxidants by using a moisturiser that will keep your skin hydrated and work towards healing it.

Carry wipes To refresh your skin once or twice a day, it is best to keep wet wipes or facial mist in your bag. Just spritz on your face any time of the day or make use of wipes to wipe off the dust or sweat that gets settled on your skin. facial mist also helps in keeping your skin fresh so whenever you feel your skin getting dry just spritz!

When you are constantly exposed to pollution and sun rays it can cause your skin to become dull, patchy and can cause blemishes. Having a routine keeps your skin fresh and healthy. It is important to choose the right kind of cleanser, moisturiser, face oil, serum and scrub according to your face type.

Add a face serum Choose not just any face serum, choose antioxidant-rich one. Exposure to sun and pollution can cause your skin complexion to fade and dull. Antioxidants such as glutathione, vitamin C, retinol or vitamin A are really helpful in beating various skin woes. Antioxidants help in fighting premature ageing such as fine lines, ageing and sagging. It also helps in reducing inflammation caused by sun rays which can cause acne. Antioxidants such as glutathione help in preventing sunburn and lightening skin tone which can be easily consumed in the form of glutone 1000 or glutone tablets. These antioxidants work as a warrior which helps in collagen production which fights radicals that cause dark spots, fine lines, scars and spots.
