either way

If you have been in the job you have now for quite some time, then you may notice that eventually your motivation starts to dwindle. It may be that you don’t feel challenged enough or that you just don’t find that you are moving in the right direction. Either way, your interests will change over time, and it may get to the point where a change is in order. If you aren’t sure if now is the time for you to make that change or not, then this is the guide for you.

You Feel Stressed

Do you feel as though you are dragging your feet when you go to work? Maybe you feel as though you lack a certain spring in your step and you don’t quite know how to get around that. Either way, this could be symptoms of your stress levels rising. This is a warning sign and if you do not do anything about it, then it may be that you end up impacting yourimmune system. This can make you far more susceptible to things such as colds and it may even impact your performance.

You Don’t Believe in the Company

When you began working the job you have now, you may have thought that it was full of possibilities. You may have even felt proud to say that you were an employee of that organisation. If you have noticed recently that there is a change in your office atmosphere or if you know that there is a change in the organisation that you are just not quite happy with then now is the time for you to change that. If you have lost faith in your organisation because of an accident and they did not give you the support you needed, then remember you can always file anaccident at work claim.

You Keep Watching the Clock

If you wake up in the morning and you are excited about what you might achieve with the day ahead then this is great. If you go to work and you end upwatching the clock or if you are counting down the hours until you get home then this is not a good thing. Everyone deserves to be in a job that they feel happy about, and if your job is not making you feel this way then you need to make a positive change.

Your Skills Don’t Match your Interests

Sometimes people are hired for things that they are good at, but that doesn’t mean they enjoy it. If you are good with software but you would much prefer to be working face to face with people, then you should try and do something about this. It’s natural for you to want to align your interests with your job, and the longer you leave it, the harder the change may become. Of course, if you want to make sure that you find a job that aligns with your interests, then it may help to gain some transitional skills as this will help you to appear more versatile when applying for a new job.
