In the today’s technical scenario every company is striving hard to grow vigorously. But as the companies are growing them they face the safety at workplace related concerns. Researches and studies show that workplace injuries and accidents cost thousands of dollars to the companies every year.

If the safety manager and the employees do not take safety precautions seriously, then it could increase the volume of accidents with time. To keep the workplace safe is not a financial aspect but the life of an employee as every life counts so managers should not put their employee in life treating danger because of an unsafe working condition

Companies could save lives and save money if they promote health and safety procedures in the workplace. Sometimes employees do not intentionally create potential hazards, they just do not know that what they are doing and can be hazardous to themselves and to the other workers. So the Companies could conduct training programs for employees to make them aware about how they can work with safety in the workplace and maintain their good health by maintaining the hygiene at the workplace.

Companies conduct orientation programs for the new employees to make them aware about organizational structure and the places which are sensitive and could be hazardous for employees if they do not follow the safety guidelines properly. Companies could also provide safety manuals for employees. Developing a safety culture is a time taking process but it is a good way to go.

It is up to mangers that have to plan the safety rules and procedures in the workplace. Managers find what safety rules and guidelines should be followed to prevent injuries. The guidelines framed by the mangers should be feasible and easy to follow by employees. And it is the job of managers to inspect and ensure whether the employees are following the rules or not. If he finds someone not following the safety rules then he is liable to take action on the ground of discipline.

Every company should have a safety department. And the employees should know the safety department is working in the company. The safety department is responsible in keeping the workplace safe and ensuring the safety of workers.

The safety department deals with all safety related issues in the workplace. They are the one who report potential hazards in the workplace, Managers of Safety department set the rules that helps keep safety in the workplace. They also implement programs that allow workers to learn more about safety. Most of the time, safety department organizes trainings to help employees regarding workplace safety.

Every organization should follow OHS and WHS rules to provide safe and secure environment
