holiday season

The kids are off on holiday break watching way too many movies, you’re running around like a chicken with your head cut off picking up last minute gifts, and nobody is spending any time together during the holiday season. Does this sound familiar? You’re not alone.

Christmas time is meant to be enjoyed with family and friends, so take a minute to look over these easy and fun Christmas activities to do with your family to get the most out of your holiday season (without all the stress).

Play Christmas music in the background, enjoy some time together and display your creations to add personalized Christmas decor.

4. Drive Around Looking at Christmas Lights

It gets darker earlier now with more time to kill in the evenings so why don’t you pile the family in the car and go look at Christmas lights around town! We used to do this every Christmas Eve after church as a family and drove to a neighborhood that had amazing lights displayed. Now you can find drive through parks and businesses that have lights and music to enjoy as well. Christmas lights add a little extra magic to the season!

5. Christmas Photoshoot

Sometimes professional family photos just add too much stress to your already busy season, so why not have some fun with your family, make memories and have really great photos to enjoy for the years to come by creating your own photoshoot! You can make a DIY photo booth with unused Christmas decorations or stand in front of your Christmas tree for a festive background. Keep it classy with fancy outfits or find the ugliest Christmas sweaters for the family. Your best photos could be used as the perfect thank you card.

Remember that Christmas time is meant to be enjoyed with your family so choose one or all of these unique activities to make the season special for the whole family.
