Vibration analysis is the process of looking for irregularities or patterns of error in how a machine vibrates. Essentially the vibration of a machine can be read as a frequency (sound, for example). When that "sound" changes – the machine is bound to break!
Supervisors can use this technology to determine if machines are likely to break soon. In some facilities, this saves lives. Some machines may break causing meltdowns or explosions – if we can predict that early enough, we can shut it down before that occurs.

Build up a Baseline
