Many of us are enjoying get togethers, work Christmas parties, and family functions this time of year. These three party games will not only spice up your party, but produce a lot of laughs!

Use them in groups big or small. Regardless you’ll have an amazing time!

1. Who’s Most Likely To…

This game works best in groups of people who know each other fairly well. You can pick a question from this list of who’s most likely to questions and have the group answer. Or create your own questions. Here are a few great examples:

  • Who’s most likely to eat the last cookie in the package?
  • Who is most likely to become a public speaker?
  • Who’s more likely to run a marathon?

The sky is the limit, and you can use anything! The only caution is to keep it friendly! Negative things like… "who’s most likely to get divorced" will only lead to resentment and hurt feelings. So, keep it light and enjoy the fun!

2. The 21 Questions Game

This game includes in-depth questions that lead to wonderful discussion. Use these 21 questions ideas to really get to know another person on a new, deeper level.

Examples include:

  • If someone made your life into a movie, what kind of movie would it be?
  • If you could make up a holiday, what would it be?
  • What game have you spent the most time playing?

You can also make these questions themed towards whatever you want to learn more about! For example, if it’s Christmas, ask personal questions about the holidays, family traditions, and belief systems.

3. This or That Questions

And finally, the this or that questions game is a game where you pick between two similar items. It’s funny, light-hearted, and you usually learn a lot about a person. Examples include:

  • Jump rope or karate?
  • Dogs or cats?
  • Wine or chocolate?
  • Vintage or modern?
  • Bath or shower?

Bonus: Since it’s the holidays, you can turn this or that into holiday time questions! Try a few of these:

  • Candy canes or chocolate covered cherries?
  • Reindeer or snow men?
  • Christmas Vacation or the Grinch?
  • Christmas lights or Christmas songs?
  • Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
  • Christmas cookies or Christmas fudge?
  • Egg nog or hot chocolate?
  • Joy to the World or Silent Night?

In Conclusion

There you have it! No holiday get together should be dull. Use one (or all) of these fun question games and you’ll be connecting in new fun ways with those you love. They also make exceptional ideas for getting to know your co-workers better during a Christmas party! My husband used these along with Christmas trivia questions during a team building break out session and they were a huge hit!

Before I go, here’s a quote to consider as you go through the Christmas season..

"Families and friends form some of the closest of bonds you will ever experience. It is almost impossible for you to lead a happy life without support from these important groups of people." – Jeffrey Dawson
