A trust that operates a school in the country of India must be registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860 or Trust’s Act. the society or trust that is formed should be a non-profit organisation. At the same time, if a company decides to invest in a school, it should be registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013.
