"Better than before" book dictated by "Gretchen Rubin". Gretchen Rubin is a best-selling author whose books have been translated into more than 30 languages.

Whenever we start any new work for this we have included some new habit in our daily routine but it takes some time to get used to all the new things. Actually, we get so accustomed to our old habits that we find it difficult to maintain new habits. But the point is whether the new habit is so necessary, than the answer is yes, of course, good habits can change your whole life which you can't even imagine.

  • THE FATEFUL TENDENCIES WE BRING INTO THE WORLD:-

You always remember that you are unique and no one else has the abilities and potential you have. Habits are our routine work which we have to do on daily basis.

Like sometimes we find it difficult to adopt the Habit because the techniques that other use are difficult for you to do but it is not your fault in this. It's just that there is a different way to get the habit. Its reason is the level of expectation.

There are two types of expectation, the first is an outer expectation that comes from others and the second is an inner expectation that comes from you.

There are four types of people who respond according to habit. come first is upholder then questioners, then obligors and the last is Rebels and what kind of people are you decide how do you think and how to have you.

Upholders want to live to both inner and Outer expectations because they like it and their expectation is of a very high level, this is the reason that upholder quickly adopts any habit. Upholder has one quality that they are following their rules very strictly and if they do any mistake so they feel guilty.

The next type is questioners. Questioners are always in doubt about their expectations. These people respond to the expectation only when they see the logic in it and then they prepare their inner expectation so that they can follow it.

And the next is obligors who always want the happiness of others. These people find it difficult to complete their inner exception. These people can break their promises but not for others, that reason for obligors it difficult to adopt new habits.

And the last is Rebels that types of people like to work on their terms, for them their freedom is the most important for this they can avoid their inner or, outer expectation.

  • DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE:-

As we discussed previously it is not necessary that which technique works for others also works for you then which technique are best for you, for knowing it you have to analyze yourself. Here are some factors that will help you adopt any new habit effectively.

  • LARK OR NIGHT OWL:-

They are those people who work better at night than during the day and they are more productive this time because it has an important role of genes and age. Most of the students are night owl nature and old people are lark nature.

  • MARATHONER,SPRINTER OR PROCRASTINATOR:-

Before making any habit strategy, it is important to know with a comfortable phase you can adopt habit easily. as like the author of this book "Gretchen" like to work slow and steady phase. if you take too much time for finishing and work then you are a marathoner. But if you perform better under pressure and start any work when the deadline is near then you are a sprinter.

A procrastinator is like a sprinter the people also do not do any work before the deadline the only difference is that if their work is not completed on time then they become frustrated.

  • UNDER BUYER AND OVER BUYER:-

Those people who do not spend money quickly are called under buyers and those people who don't hesitate in the slightest to spend money are over buyers.

  • PILLARS OF HABITS:-

There are four pillars of adopting any new habit monitoring, Foundation, scheduling, and accountability. The strategy of monitoring is effective only when you are clear about when and on which action you have to monitor but where the intention is not sure about something this strategy did not work. The strategy of foundation means to do one habit at a time it is often seen that when a good habit is formed, the rest is also improved itself.

The strategy of scheduling means setting a time when you will practice this habit. This strategy will get you used to your habit very quickly because it will keep repeating. Last and fourth strategy is accountability, in this strategy help of other is also involved because these people will give you other expectation and you can't adopt any habit unless you have not accountable for that habit because you know it's not going to make a difference.
