With further processing or with the use of various technologies, this fabric can be divided into several categories; three of them are given below:

  • Industrial Woven Filter Fabrics: As the name suggests, this type of fabric can be used majorly in the industries. Manufactured using high quality raw material with advanced technology, this fabric can be alkaline resistant as well as acid resistant. Additionally, good reversibility, high abrasion resistance and strong conductivity are some of the features which make this fabric worth to use in the industries.
  • Geo-Textile Woven Fabric: This type of fabric can be used in various types of manufacturing projects such as Bridges, Dams, Airport, Railway, Horticulture plant, River front project and many more. However, this fabric is widely used in construction of roads as it provides stability to the roads by preventing rutting among the layers thus, results in long life of roads. Its low elongation and high tensile strength including competent and durability in nature are some of the other features which give this fabric an edge over the other fabrics. Moreover, if talking about the specifications then Geo-textile fabric can be available easily up to 80" inches in terms of width and 500 meters long in terms of length.

Following are some of the other application areas where it can be used:

  • Drainage
  • Erosion Control
  • Filtering
  • MSE
  • Reinforcement
  • Fiber Glass Woven Filter Fabric: Glass filter fabric is specially used in steel, alloys and insulating industries apart from textile, garments plants and engineering sectors. It can also be used as pollutant collector filter bag in coal and lignite base boiler plant. In addition to this, it can also be supplied in Satin weave, Plain weave and twill weave. Its specifications are 40" in terms of width and 100 meters long in terms of length. Its thickness can be 3mil to 40mil; moreover its weight can be between 50gm to 900gm.
