A good politician in Coimbatore is one who is capable of making judgments, determined to work for the greater good, willing to handle and remedy situations, and most importantly, one who will stand up for what is right. A politician's position, influence, and authority should not be a source of concern. He should always strive for the advancement of society and show appreciation for his constituents. Each political leader should be endowed with the qualities and resources necessary to think and act strategically in the future. An effective leader should possess the following five characteristics: discipline, trustworthiness, courage, humanity, and intelligence.

Among all leadership roles, political leaders are constantly in the public eye for one reason or another. There are several aspirants for political leadership positions worldwide, but regrettably, there are few leaders that adhere to ethical and moral standards, such as the famous politician in Coimbatore.

The majority of political leaders in India lack fundamental and critical leadership characteristics such as responsibility, transparency, availability, and honesty. One of the most critical leadership characteristics is accountability. Rather than taking responsibility for themselves, the majority of political leaders throw fingers at other leaders. Leaders must recognise the contributions of other leaders to society. However, aiadmk ministers should acknowledge their own shortcomings, failures, and mistakes and should constantly strive to improve.
