Andrew Stoner is a Reputed Politician and Businessman

Andrew Stoner is an experienced Australian politician who was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. He represented Oxley in the Australian parliament and was the leader of the New South Wales National Party from 2003 to 2014. He was Australia’s first Minister for Trade and Investment, leading international engagement for Australia's largest and most prosperous State. With his experience, he led numerous trade missions, particularly to China, Korea, Japan, South East Asia, Middle East and the United States.
He became the Shadow Minister for various portfolios including Emergency Services, Energy and Utilities, Ports, Road Infrastructure, Regional Development, Natural Resources, Skills Development and more. He delivered $4 billion for redevelopment of the Sydney International Convention Entertainment & Exhibition Precinct at Darling Harbour within time and on budget. Besides this, he also supervised more than $13 billion of infrastructure investment in regional NSW, particularly rail, road, water infrastructure, enhancing the productivity of regional industries including agriculture and mining.
Andrew Stoner has profound knowledge of the economic, social and regulatory environment, and his networks are both in business and government. His contacts in industries including agriculture, tourism, finance, education, property and resources are extensive and have already assisted Australia’s export trade. During his time, there was a rise in two-way trade between the State and its major trading partners. With his dedicated efforts, he promoted Government trade support programs, established overseas trade offices and led trade missions.
He is serving as the Director of his own firm, Andrew Stoner & Associates, and they uniquely offer valuable advice related to cultural issues, export strategy, social and economic factors affecting proposed investments; government and regulation, cultural issues, communications, including stakeholder and media engagement, investor and business migration and more. In addition to this, he serves as an Advisory Board Member at NSW Leaders, Director of Sports Aviation Flight College Australia Ltd, Director of Slasherteck Pty Ltd, Senior Advisor at Moelis and Co., and is Patron of the Australia China Economic, Trade and Cultural Association.
In his leisure time, he prefers outdoor activities and games such as, tennis, golf and surfboard riding. He loves to travel to different parts of the world and explore new places for new experiences. He also contributes to charitable causes and is a patron of Australia China Economic, Trade & Cultural Association, Save the Brumbies and more. Besides this, he loves to spend time with his family and despite his hectic schedule, he makes time for them.
