Andrew Stoner has Served as the Shadow Minister for Various Portfolios

Andrew Stoner occupies a top position among the most experienced politicians across the country. The Brisbane born politician holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, which he completed in 1985 from the Queensland University of Technology. He was also enrolled in Master’s of Business Administration, and graduated with 1st class honours. His political career is very admirable, and he has worked wholeheartedly for the Australian government in promoting its programs.
Andrew has served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for 16 years. From 2003 to 2014, he served as the Leader of the New South Wales National Party. The party is commonly referred to as The Nationals, and its origins date back to 1919. Initially, it represented farmers and rural voters, and was called the Progressive Party. After that, it was renamed the Country Party, and then National Country Party in 1977. Under Andrew Stoner’s leadership, the party won the 2011 state election.
Andrew has served as the Shadow Minister for various portfolios such as Education and State Development, Primary Industries, Skill Development, Road Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Utilities, Natural Resources, Regional Development, Sports and Recreation, and Emergency Services. Other than this, his political career also includes Secretary of the Kempsey Branch of The Nationals, Coalition Advisory Committee on Infrastructure and Transport Services, Deputy Chair & Kempsey Branch Vice Chairman, Deputy Premier, Minister for Trade and Investment, Tourism and Major Events, Small Business, Regional Infrastructure and Services, and the North Coast.
