After the surgery there is 3 to 5 days of hospital stay for a proper examination, the positioning splint like a foam pillow is placed between the legs this is used to protect the hip during the recovery period. After the surgery there is a limit for movement of the particular joint. This means you might need help to do the household work or any other daily activities during recovery. Generally after 4 to 6 weeks you might be able to resume light daily activities.
