Watch silently as kites, jacanas, cormorants, purple swamp hens and kingfishers feed. A mural displays the seasonal changes consistently. The wetlands are lovely all year round. However, it shows dramatic changes in the late dry season (September to November) when a huge number of honking magpie geese come to the area to dig for water chestnuts.
