It’s strange…after visiting Sydney, I couldn’t stick close to where I belong, my home! I felt my heart pounding all the time as if insisting to go again and fall in love with this amazing coastal metropolis all over again. If you have plans to visit Sydney, great! I can promise you that you won’t ever feel disappointed after visiting this breathtaking destination. If you are in a quest to see and take in the best of Sydney attractions as much as possible, then you can go through some of the best stops I felt overwhelming.

My visit to Sydney Harbour housing the popular Harbour Bridge and Opera House is still my favourite on the list and one of the must-dos you shouldn’t miss. Maybe to add some extra fun, try boarding a Sydney lunch cruise, a prime venue from where you can take an extraordinary perspective of these harbour attractions. From a premium glass boat offering 360° uninterrupted harbour views to a budget-friendly catamaran and an authentic paddlewheeler with an old-world charm, there are amazing cruise options you can choose from. One of the best things to do in any new place is to taste some of its popular local delicacies. So it is an ideal choice since it offers freshly prepared lunch menus along with the finest Aussie drinks and beverages that can be purchased online or while on board. From a banquet lunch to a multi-cuisine buffet, you can enjoy delicious dishes and pair them up with the best quality drinks while taking in the best harbourside views on your way. A lunch cruise thus makes a great choice to witness the majestic grandeur of the location in a unique way.

On your way, you can enjoy an ample view of other major Sydney attractions, including the Shark Island, Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, and so on. If you want to take in the best of these locations, then you should try hitting all of them individually. Taronga Zoo, one of the world’s most beautiful zoos, is an amazing destination that comes in every ‘Must-visit Sydney Locations’ list. Getting to Taronga Zoo is easy. There are ferries from Circular Quay which approximately takes only 10 minutes. You can explore its expansive 28-hectare grounds and enjoy the panoramic views over the iconic Sydney Harbour. You will also be able to encounter an extra cute array of native wildlife along with some rare animals.

Definitely not a secret, but have you ever heard of Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden? It is one of the most interesting and fun attractions in Sydney. Located on the north shore of Sydney Harbour, it is a free place to visit and a pretty popular location easy to commute to. This delightful Lavender Bay garden has charming views that can add elegance to the pictures you have taken. I felt at peace while I was at it. It is also an exceptionally fun location, especially for kids. Adjacent to Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden is an incredible point of interest perfect for a meal or a relaxing drink before continuing your exploration.

Sydney Observatory, one of the most underappreciated places in Sydney is the best location where you are promised an ultimate learning experience. This state-listed heritage site has Australia’s most accessible telescope domes, Sydney planetarium, 3D Space Theatre, and so much more. You need to pay a fee for a visit to the telescope towers and 3D theatre sessions. It is worth every single penny you spent since there is nothing more calming and inspiring than gazing at the stars. Enjoy the vastness of the space at night while appreciating the advancement of science and technology.
