What is humidity?

It is commonly referred to as the amount of moisture content in the atmosphere. It is an important aspect in meteorology.

During rain, we all feel itchy and humid, because of the high level of moisture in the air which in turn causes rain and other forms of precipitation.

• Capacitive Meters- These types of meters are used and differentiated from others as it can measure a large range of humidity and have a lowest least count to measure even minute readings of humidity.
• Resistive Meters- They are the most resistant forms as they can withstand any large external force be it pressure, heat, etc.
• Thermal Meters- They are specialized to measure humidity at any temperature, especially high temperature. That’s from the name comes ‘Thermal’.
