Planning an escape to feel close to nature for vacations?

We have some great North Georgia cabin rentals for you.

In North Georgia, you can see nature's beauty when you come to town; one of the top must-see sights is North Georgia's stunning waterfalls!

Some of the falls are quite easy to get to, and others require a longer trek, but you'll be blown away by their breathtaking beauty no matter which falls you choose to explore!

There are countless waterfalls inside Blue Ridge and the encompassing regions. It'll be difficult to visit them across the board trip, so we suggest seeing an alternate waterfall each visit!

Fall Branch Falls

Fall Branch Falls is another waterfall close by, only 20 minutes from Blue Ridge. The hike to the falls is quite challenging because of the slippery rocks. You'll see a waterfall down 30 feet into the deep pool at the bottom.

Click some photos or have a picnic at the base of the falls. There are lots to take in when you arrive, along with the trek to Fall Branch Falls, which is great to bring your four-legged friends along.

Long Creek Falls

We'll start with one of Blue Ridge's most famous falls, Long Creek Falls. It is near the core of downtown Blue Ridge, but on the other hand, it's not difficult to get to. You can track down the falls at the convergence of the Appalachian Trail and Benton McKaye Trail. The climb to Long Creek Falls is just 2 miles there and back.

You'll follow close by Noontootla Creek, where you'll see more minor falls as you go. Finally, when you show up at Long Creek Falls, you'll wonder at the lovely 50-foot two-fold waterfall. Sit on one of the rocks on the edge of the falls and take in the sights!

Jacks River Falls

Jacks River Falls in Epworth, GA, is one of the most visited sites in the Cohutta Wilderness Area, and understandably! While the excursion to the falls is a test, the perspectives toward the end will make it all worth the effort. The Jacks River trail extends north of 16 miles through the lavish wild and past hurrying waterways.

Jacks River Falls is a lovely, thundering and rough cascade, imitating the unpleasant territory you'll pass en route.

A hiking experience is highly recommended to get to these falls.

Raven Cliff Falls

Raven Cliff Falls trail will take you past trout-filled streams and delightful plant life and end with a shocking, flowing cascade. Raven Cliff Falls is situated in Helen, GA, on a 5.8-mile out and back trail.

En route, you'll pass by numerous cliffside cascades until you show up at the greenery covered cliffside where the waters of Raven Cliff Falls tumble down. Raven Cliff Falls trail is among Georgia's most gorgeous and famous climbing trails and is around an hour from Blue Ridge.

Amicalola Falls

Amicalola Falls is the tallest waterfall in Georgia, standing at 729 feet. It is located in Dawsonville, GA, and these falls are one of the more popular ones to visit because of their extreme height.

There are three ways to reach the falls, each varying in difficulty; the first is an easy drive to the top of the falls, the next is the steep but short hike to the top on the 2.1-mile loop, or you could take the 7.5-mile hike along the Appalachian Trail.

Helton Creek Falls

Not far from Blue Ridge in Union County, GA, is Helton Creek Falls. Helton Creek Falls is a pair of two significant falls, the smaller Lower Helton Creek Falls you'll arrive at first and the more significant Upper Helton Creek Falls, where the water rushes down a 50-foot cliffside.

Admire the beauty of the falls from the deck, and remember to capture this scenic beauty with your camera.
