Understanding the journey from ITA to PR

The Invitation to Apply (ITA) is a self-generated letter that is sent to the Express Entry Applicants through their online accounts. It is given to the candidates who receive the highest ranking in a round of invitations based on their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Scores.

Candidates who are issued ITAs are invited to apply under a specific category such as the Foreign Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Foreign Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Provincial Nominee Class (PNC), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Individuals who are awarded Provincial Nominations are given an additional 600 Points in their CRS Scores.
