I finally went to Sydney, one of the oldest and busiest cities in the world, to celebrate a vacation together with my family. Let me tell you this, Sydney is a wonderland with thousands of hidden places that offer amazing experiences and interesting stories. If you have never been to Sydney, the land embraced by both land and water, you should plan your next holiday or family vacation to explore and experience the true Australian charm Sydney possesses. Although I’ve only been here for two weeks, I’ve encountered that the land is multicultural, multiethnic, and multilingual. Here are some of the amazing Sydney destinations I loved and sure you will too. Read along and enjoy an amazing leisure trip to Sydney with your family and friends.

Sydney Harbour

Obviously, the harbour is one of the most visited locations in Sydney. But do you know what actually causes a rush to Sydney Harbour? The answer is its land, sky, and all the man-made wonders in the harbour. If you are someone who likes something extra to make an ordinary thing extraordinary, I would suggest a harbour sightseeing aboard a harbour cruise offering dinner and prime views of the harbour attractions. Let it be an authentic paddlewheeler with a show, a fully transparent glass boat that can offer unobstructed views, or an ultra-modern catamaran with large panoramic windows, you are promised the best views of the magnificent harbour wonders like Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Luna Park, and so on along with an opportunity to click some amazing photographs in the picturesque location.

Let me be clear about this, I’m not insisting on one, because you can choose what works the best for your pocket. You can enjoy a 3-course deluxe dinner, a signature dinner, or a healthy contemporary buffet dinner along with a selection of best-value Australian soft drinks and beverages depending on the vessel you choose to be on. So if you are looking for a way to spend an ordinary day to be an extraordinary one, aboard one of the best dinner cruises on Sydney Harbour.

Sydney Opera House

To elaborate a bit more, the Sydney Opera House is one of the popular points that made Sydney Harbour famous. It is the world-popular architectural marvel that is embraced by harbour waters overlooking what makes Sydney real and now it has been identified as one of the iconic landmarks in Sydney. You can see the Opera House just to the right of Circular Quay, illuminated by lights if you prefer a night tour. What I learned from my Sydney holidays is that your trip won't attain closure until you visit this gem. As I mentioned earlier, you can either board a harbour cruise or sign up for a walking tour to get the best of it. PS: it doesn’t require a tuxedo, you can check out this incredible architectural wonder glittering with harbour waters whenever you want to.

Royal Botanic Garden

One thing everyone should do before packing their bags for a trip is research. We need to understand a location as much as possible before heading out with our family and friends. When I insisted everyone in my group visit the Royal Botanic Garden, I was certain that they would love it. The Royal Botanic Garden, located on the site of Sydney’s first farm is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Australia which was built around 1816. If you are a nature lover or one who is interested in sustainable tourism, then you should check out this amazing destination where we can see a great number of rainforest plants, herbs, ferns, orchids, and towering trees. Royal Botanic Garden is a paradise for all those who are in search of a serene place with amazing views, a gentle atmosphere, and relaxing vibes. You can practice yoga or meditation in the Garden ensuring soothing air and peace.

So that’s it! These are some of my favourite destinations in Sydney I want you guys to check out while exploring more highlights on your own. I promise you will love these locations.
