"A budget isn’t about restricting what you can spend. It gives you permission to spend without guilt or regret."
- Dave Ramsey
The 50 30 20 Budget
First, this budget is the most popular. It allocates 50% of your budget to your needs, 30% to wants, and 20% to savings. If you’re a beginner at budgeting this is a great option for you. It gives you plenty of flexibility and you can tweak between your needs and wants.
Plus, by following the rule, you’ll be saving consistently every month. It’s a big winner!

The 60 30 10 Budget
This budget is the most aggressive! You save 60% (you read that right), spend 30% on needs, and 10% on wants. If you're ambitious and looking to supercharge your savings, then this is a great budget for you.
This is also an excellent option if you want to pull yourself out of debt quickly.
