When a doctor joined the hospital, the entire narrative became terrifying. He led people to believe that he possessed supernatural abilities to foretell the future using their precise passing date. Then he sent them to a certain room known as Mukti Kothari, also known as the place of freedom. The souls of the deceased patients are now haunting this location because it was thought that the doctor killed them all to demonstrate his exceptional abilities.
3. Garhwal: Pahadi Wilson, a Britisher, after spending many years in Garhwal Himalayas, married a local girl there. Her name was Gulabi. Wilson had a horse which he used to take care of like his child. He was adventurous. He had a massive mansion where he and his wife lived for years. But, one day, both of them were found buried live in the Mussoorie cemetery. People near Pauri Garhwal say they sometimes see Wilson's spirit with his horse asking for a cigar.
4. Savoy Hotel: This considerable hotel was built in 1902 at Mussoorie. In 1911, a spiritualist named Madam Frances Garnett Orme was found poisoned by a fatal powder, Strychnine, in her locked room. It was believed that she was murdered. Mysteriously, the doctor involved in her post mortem also died by the same poison. Later, the hotel staff said that they were hearing banging sounds on the door from her room.
5. Lambi Dehar Mines of Mussoorie: In the 1990s, many workers working in the suffocating atmosphere of the mines digging for limestone used to cough blood because of the care instructions not being followed there. Around 50,000 workers died of improper maintenance, and the place was shut down. Later on, mysterious accidents took place, and it is believed that a witch was controlling the area. The cries of the workers are heard every night there.
