Pizza: A healthy fast food

Fast food refers to the quick cooking and preparing of a food. Foods are prepared and served that helps in time saving. These types of foods are generally available to sell in the restaurants also in the departmental stores too. I departmental stores, fast food are available in the packaged form that is already pre-cooked or pre-heated. Some of the popular fast foods available on the market are burger, French fries, pasta, pizza, etc.

How to Make Pizza

Pizza is one of the fast food item made up of from the wheat item. It is cooked by baking through oven in flat bread shaped with toppings of tomato sauce and cheese on it. Basically it is cooked with a fresh vegetables, selective meat and necessary tasting ingredients on it. Pizza was invented on Italy. Later with its flavor it became popular around the world. Making a pizza doesn’t own one unique style. Till now different style were obtained for making a pizza overcoming the weakness and challenges. It is served in a warm or hot state. However a simple method or recipe for a making a pizza is listed below:

  1. At first, a mixture of warm water and yeast is prepared until the yeast start produce a foam
  2. Then the mixture is added with the flour, tasting ingredients like sugar and salt and olive oil
  3. On the average speed the mixture turned into a dough either y a machine or a hand
  4. If a dough seems a little too wet than it should be than a little amount of flour is added into it
  5. After that with a little olive oil on it the dough is kept for some time depending on the chef that might be up to 2 weeks too
  6. Preheating the oven on suitable temperature for half an hour then toppings the dough which is in the flat bread shape. Tomato sauce and cheese is also added on the toppings and with the hand it is brought into the shape and baked for few times like about 10-15 minutes.

Healthy Pizza and its recipe

Generally fast food is considered not good for health. A homemade pizza is considered one of the healthy fast food. A pre-cooked pizza is also considered a little it healthy one. Pizza contains the grain that is the important part of the basic elements of food. Similarly the recipe is the same for home made too. It’s just the importance of the components are discussed below:

  1. Similarly the tomato sauce which is cooked from a tomato and it’s a vegetable
  2. Another component is a cheese which is a dairy product
  3. The topping section contains the selective meats that contain the sufficient amount of proteins, fat, salts, etc.

Pizza is considered as a fast food and is avoided as far as possible. But when it’s a homemade one than it can be consider a healthy one because pizza contains right amount of nutrition from the ingredients like meat and vegetables along with the limited amount of cheese, right amount of olive oil and no extra ingredients. So, the food we eat must be selective and we should e health conscious too.
