Is it better to hire security personnel yourself or pay a professional company to handle the background checks and hiring? By using a company, as a business owner, you may not have as much input in hiring a security guard with advance security training. In some states, you may be required to have a proprietor’s license. In wanting to save money, sometimes business owners try to obtain the cheapest security guards possible.
