Is Single Parent Surrogacy Allowed in Ukraine?

The answer is no.

Ukrainian surrogacy laws are clear and restrictive when it comes to eligibility. Surrogacy is legally permitted only under the following conditions:

• Intended parents must be a heterosexual married couple

• A valid marriage certificate is required

• There must be a medical indication of infertility

• At least one parent must have a genetic connection to the child

These legal requirements automatically exclude:
