Did you know adding granite flooring or quartz flooring could increase the value of your home or business? This may be welcome news if you ever plan to re-sell. What appeal does granite or quartzflooring have?

Apart from looking absolutely amazing, granite and quartz flooring are hard, durable flooring options. Quartz is made of silica, which is a very tough mineral. It does not absorb moisture, which also makes it a good flooring material to use in a kitchen or bathroom. It also can withstand heavy foot traffic and will not scratch easily. There are many ways to customize quartz flooring ; such has adding inlays, quartz blends, solid blends, and other options. Granite, made of feldspar, is resistant to scratches, even when stainless steel is used. It is also a good flooring option if you choose to resell your business or home.

Costs to update to granite flooring or quartz vary

This depends on the flooring used. Some quartz flooring and granite flooring options can begin at around $4 a square foot and more. Working with a qualified contractor, you may be able to get a good deal on granite slabs wholesale to further add value to your home in a bathroom or kitchen. Though it may be hard to cut a granite slab whole into individual granite flooring tiles without special equipment and additional time (and no doubt additional cost), you may be able to use a granite slab wholesale purchase for a bathroom wall or bedroom wall. It will be less cost to install as a whole piece using a granite slab wholesale and you get the added benefit of having something to show to potential homebuyers or business purchasers.

Quartz or granite flooring can increase the value of your property if you do not have a mortgage where you owe as much on the mortgage as you expect the granite or quartz tile flooring to bring. These types of granite flooring options also may not produce instant results. This is why homeowners or business owners may have to wait awhile to see the value of their property steadily increase over time and recoup the cost of installing these stone flooring options. If you can’t afford to remodel all the flooring you wish with granite or quartz, consider only remodelling the kitchen and bathroom. These are two rooms you will be mostly likely to see an increase in property value by remodelling.
