If you want to see your children on top in their class, then it is necessary to keep regular track of their assignments. The dissertation is a most important assignment that every student must have to submit if they want to attain their master’s degree. It is good to keep an eye on your child’s dissertation deadline as due to the busy schedule they might forget the important dates, but how you can encourage your child to keep track on their school assignment? Here in this article we share top tips parents can encourage their children to keep an open eye on their dissertation deadline:

Encourage your child to talk to you:

Teach your children how they can complete their assignment on time and how they can easily handle long assignments and submit them on the given deadline. Tell them that it is their responsibility to keep an eye on important dates of an assignment, not their teacher or yours, but assure them that you are always with them and also will help them whenever they need your help. Ask them, what according to them the best way to keep an eye on their school assignment, like for instance, assignment notebook, homework folder or calendar. Let them know the significance of planning, perhaps by long-term tasks, imminent tests or setting learning milestones

Give them the necessary tools:

Find out necessary tools and buy them for your child that helps him to keep track of his important dates. Today, almost every child knows how he can make use of assignment notebook. Tell them how they can write their daily assignment in the notebook. Buy them a calendar and ask them to mark the due date of the dissertation on it and keep looking it on a daily basis so that they won’t forget the deadline of the dissertation.

Consult with your child’s teacher:

Encourage your children to ask questions from their teacher if they don’t understand anything about the dissertation topic. Make sure you can anytime take help from your teacher and no one will guide you better than them. So, take an advantage of your teacher and time to time consult with them about your dissertation.

Check out the website of the school:

Check the website of the school to stay up-to-date on what latest activities, what are the dates of these activities and due dates of the assignments, etc. You can also ask your children to let you know the due date of the dissertation in case if they forget it you can remind them. If the website has assignment calendar, children can easily transfer important information to the study calendar or assignment book.

If your child is having difficulty in keeping track of the dissertation these above mentioned tips are great help for you to encourage them to keep track of this important assignment. All you need is to make little effort in this regard. Best of luck for your dissertation.
