This state capital is appreciated for having one of the best governance and administrative in India in 2014. Raipur has a significant mythological and historical past. River Mahanadi surrounds from the east and Maikal hill to the northwest. Resting in the lap of nature, Raipur is beautiful. Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Park adjacent with a museum is also a place of attraction. From lakes to caves Raipur has everything for the visitors. Mahakoshal Kala Parishad and Chattisgarh haat are very renowned for the collection of handicrafts items. Dhokra statue are a unique piece of art to gift your loved ones. Terracotta items, Dhruva Sari etc are all produced here.

The best time to visit Raipur is from October to March. The climate is soothing during this time, and it is ideal for sightseeing. Festivals are mostly celebrated in Shravan and Sharad Purnima. However, hotels in Raipur are always ready to welcome the visitors. The hotels provide with food of your choice too. Hotels are available at reasonable prices.
