Tutorial shows how to prepare a broken face, in the depths of which there is a second face.

Open the photo that is to be severed. The first thing to do would be to use a tool Crop Crop Tool and select the area around the head as pictured.

If we fit the selection press Enter to accept.

The next step is to duplicate the layer with the head of the woman. For this purpose, we use the keyboard shortcut  Ctrl + J.

Press  D to reset the default colors for foreground and background. After this operation, the colors are arranged in such a way that the background color is white and the foreground color black. Press X to change it. We use tools Crop :crop: Crop Tool in order to select the entire area of photography. Now-click Alt stretching a few centimeters selection (Alt using we extend thanks to the selection evenly on both sides). Press Enter to confirm.

We now extended our working area in black.
Photoshop fill our extra space in black on the original layer, and everything looks good, but if we look at the layers palette, we see that only the additional space is darkened

To change this, click on the original layer and press Ctrl + Backspace (to be sure, before this act, hit D and X). This combination will fill an entire layer of black, it will be visible only on the layers palette.

Click on the duplicate layer, and then on the Add Layer Mask Add layer mask, which is located at the bottom of the palette Layers Layers.

Using a utility Brush Tool Stock hide the white parts around the head. Black color hides the brush image, and white reveals

Having selected the first layer-click  Alt- click on the icon for  Create new fill or adjustment layer Create new fill or adjustsment layer and choose Hue / Saturation Hue / Saturation...

In the  Hue / Saturation Hue / Saturation options at the bottom select Colorize Colorize and we play the slider so as to obtain a satisfactory color of our faces. We accept by clicking OK.

Now we see that a woman's face is a bit too light for the effect we want to achieve. Add this to some dramatic lighting. We do like the introduction of Hue / Saturation Hue / Saturation with the fact that this time choose the option Curves Curves,

and finally set the  Blending Options Blend Mode to Multiply Multiply.

On the layer in which are stored Curves Curves draw a gradient. To accomplish this the tool palette to select the Gradient Tool. In the properties pane of the gradient, which appears on the top bar to select the type of gradient mirror Reflected Gradient.

Select the gradient of black and white and toss it on the picture for example, by clicking and dragging on the nose in the right corner of the face.

Now choose the tool Brush Tool , and I'll paint with black eyes, and in this way, we will return to their original appearance.

Now we are breaking. To select the area you want to select the tool to break Lasso Tool and select the desired area on the mask layer "Layer 1"

and fill the area with black.

Uncheck selections by pressing Ctrl + D. We go now to bookmark Filter> Brush Strokes> Areograf Filter> Brush Stroke> Spatter and move the sliders to set us a satisfactory result.

Time to add a second picture. Open the file with a new image, copy it, click on the Background layer in our torn photograph and paste a new picture. To make them visible in the torn gap "should be set with the second photo layer under the layer" Layer 1 ".

On the layer mask with black paints over everything you do not want to see the second picture.
