It is a highly effective and efficient testing instrument that is used for testing the minimum force that is required to open the caps or lid of a PET container, jar or bottle. During the test, the cylinder is clamped between four load sensors with a firm grip. After the bottle is placed correctly, the caps of the bottle are opened manually. When the force applied on the bottle caps, it gives the bottle an equal and opposite reaction to the bottle which is recorded by the load sensors. This helps in calculating the minimum force that is required to open the bottle caps.
