Internet and GPS navigation

Like any high-end device, Android, Arc is fully equipped to meet the connectivity: HSDPA, 802.11n Wi-Fi with DLNA support (lets you connect wirelessly to DLNA compatible televisions and other equipment), Wi-Fi hotspot ( You can access the Internet from other devices using the phone as a hotspot) and Bluetooth 2.1 A2DP.

The integrated browser is fast and very well tuned. The only thing you need to keep track of data traffic, high enough, especially if you have Flash enabled.

As usual, the alternative that offers a low data traffic is Opera Mini, free application available on Android Market as well as the site producer.

To navigate using GPS, you must have Google Maps application. Without satellites, your position can be approximated by the network cell. But you must have an Internet connection.

Autonomy

Phone autonomy vary greatly depending on how you use it. As mentioned, the GPS continuously with an internet connection, the battery goes six, seven hours. Used extensively (listened to music, taking photos, surfing the internet, etc..), But with breaks between activities, you might be lucky enough to one day of use.

Accessories

Package includes 8 GB microSD card, stereo headset, microUSB cable and charger.

Pluses and minuses

[+] One of the most beautiful, lightweight and compact high-end smartphones;

[+] Gorgeous display, Bravia Engine technology;

[+] Camera is the best implementation of which appeared on the market for mobile phones so far, is close to Nokia N8, helped by a Xenon flash - the top LED on the Arc Flash;

[+] Quick interface with useful applications specially designed for Sony Ericsson (Timescape, Mediascape)

[+] Very good sound quality;

[+] Solutions connectivity, Wi-Fi with DLNA support and support for wireless hotspot;

[+] Free GPS navigation application (Google Maps)

[+] Mini-HDMI port.

[-] There is no secondary camera for video calls;

[-] Access to card is slow, must be removed from the back cover and battery.

Conclusion: Maybe Arc Xperia does not offer dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, but who needs that? At present, does not justify such an implementation.
