Dr Richard Reid - Teaching Faculty at Sydney Cadaver Pelvic Anatomy Course Organized in 2006

Dr Richard Reid is a gynecologist who has good experience in dealing with all types of women reproductive system related problems. He is a well-educated professional and has been associated with various professional medical societies. He is a skilled surgeon who has expertise in laser surgery and medicine. He has served several national and international medical communities – Chairman of Gynecology Section, 15th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and Papillomavirus Study Group, International Society for the Study of Vulvar Diseases, committee member of Nomenclature Committee, International Federation of Cervical Pathology & Colposcopy, Scientific Advisory Committee, International Federation of Cervical Pathology & Colposcopy, Papillomavirus Terminology Committee, International Society for the Study of Vulvar Diseases, Nominating Committee of American Society for Lasers in Medicine & Surgery and Colposcopy Committee of International Academy of Cytology.
Dr Richard Reid, a teaching faculty of Cadaver Pelvic Anatomy course organized by the University of Sydney in November 2006, has worked with International Uro-Gynaecology Society Postgraduate Workshop on Surgical Techniques & Biomaterials Use in Recurrent Prolapse Surgery, which was held in Portugal, Lisbon, and Australian Sonographers Association Workshop on Transperineal Ultrasound. In 1977, he scored the highest marks in the board certification examination, and won F.J. Browne Model by the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Other awards received by Dr. Richard include Presidential Award from the American Society of Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology & Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, Community Hospital Award by the Program Committee of the Central Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, and Best Scientific Paper Award.
Dr Richard Reid, a knowledgeable gynecologist, was born in August 1942 in Perth. He was raised and completed primary education at Papua New Guinea. For secondary education, he went to the Church of England Grammar School. At the University of Queensland, he finished his MBBS degree in 1996, and then an internship and residency at the Auckland Hospital Board. After working as a Public Health Officer in New Guinea for 2 years, he was enrolled in an Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. In 1973, he joined as a Resident & Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at King George V Memorial hospital & Balmain Hospital, and worked there till 1977. From 1977 to 1978, he served the position of Registrar in Radiotherapy at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
