Pay the freight in AIO. Scan the express paper and paste it on the package. The AIO will now allocate a grid box or a parcel drop boxwhere you can put the express and close the door.

Next thing is to pick up an express. When the grid box gets closed, the AIO sends pick-up messaged via its background support system. Post this, the messenger or the courier personreaches the AIO at the right time, examines the work card, enters the password and clicks on the button- "Express Pick-up". One by one, the grid boxes open and the parcels are collected simultaneously.

Delivering a parcel- The courier guy swipes in the card and enters the express delivery interface. The express paper gets scanned and now it will ask for recipients’ phone number. The details are filled and then the grid box is selected. Click on the "Check List", then ‘Submit’. At this time, the recipient gets notified through a text message. It includes the AIO address and pick up authentication code. The courier guy now puts the package back into the grid box and closes the door.

Further, the recipients’ role come into action. Click on "I want to take a parcel/express". Enter the authentication code, click "Confirm". The grid box gets opened automatically and the express can now be collected. There are very few cases, in which there is a need of paying cash for the parcel. In such cases, the recipient has to pay express freight charges before the grid box opens.

Things to Keep in Mind While You Plan to Use One

parcel locker delivers almost all kinds of things, but there are certain things you should keep in mind, before you opt for it.

  • You can’t deliver letters, standard mails and express post letters. All these can be delivered to your regular letter box.
  • You can’t send parcelweighing more than 16 kg and larger than 39*36*64 cm can’t be delivered.
  • A package requiring identity proof of recipient at the time of delivery.
  • Cash on delivery packages, in most of the cases are not appropriate to be delivered through a parcel locker.
  • Packages containing alcoholic beverages and perishable items can’t be delivered.
  • Other items that you can’t send through In Post are security papers, money, fragile and brittle items.
