Botswana AnimalsBotswana is an African country with many attractions, but the most popular one is the Okavango delta. The beauty of the delta is unparalleled and it is also home to a host of incredible number of animals, birds and plants. The most eye catching attraction however is the majestic swampland itself. There are numerous flights that fly you into Windhoek, Botswana. For the Okavango delta, the port of entry is Maun and there are flights from all the major airlines that operate in the area. These include the Air Namibia, Air Botswana and the South African Airways.

If you want to visit the place and have plenty of time to arrange for the trip, you can do it by searching the net for all your needs. Alternatively, you can book a tour from one of the tour operators. A self made plan is a voyage at your own pace and as per your liking. However, if you lack the time or the patience to organize one, you can be a part of a pre-designed package. Whatever, the method of organizing the trip makes sure you get the best deals before you set out on this trip.

The most preferred way of reaching the delta is a small aircraft that will fly you in from Maun deep into the delta of Okavango. Inside the delta, the best viewing can be made from the famous Eagle Island camp. Game viewing is on a very unusual means of transport. Instead of the usual jeeps, the safari is on a boat or canoe. This is sure going to be an unforgettable safari for all tourists to this area.

The helicopter is an excellent means of transport here and the aerial view of the swampland is incredulously awesome. An aerial route is therefore another means of exploring the area. The mornings and evenings are very beautiful here; enjoy it with a ride on a Sundowner cruise.

The peace and the tranquility of the atmosphere at Okavango are most evident under the open African skies at night. A lavish spread of cuisine, both local and global is enjoyed in this environ. There are numerous other sounds and sights of the jungle that make for some interesting variation to a dinner setting.
