How to Create, Run or Delete a Macro in MS Word 2016?

Steps for creating macros in Office 2016
  1. After Login to your office.com/setup Click View from the menu bar
  2. Select Record Macro from Macros
  3. Enter a name for the macro or go with the default name
  4. To implement a macro in a new document, ensure that All Documents (Normal) is selected in the Store Macro in list
  5. Click Keyboard to give a key combination to your macro (Word will display the customized keyboard dialogue box)
  6. Enter a combination of keys in the Press New Keyboard Shortcut box
  7. Now, Word will display the command or action currently given to that combination, if any
  8. If this combination has already been assigned then delete it from Press New Keyboard Shortcut box and select a new combination
  9. To use this combination for all your new documents, make sure Normal.dotm is selected in the Save Changes in list
  10. Hit Assign
  11. Click Ok, when you are ready to record the macro
  12. Click the commands or hit the keys for each step in the task
  13. To stop recording, click View and then Macros
  14. Now, choose Stop Recording
Steps for running a macro
  1. To run a macro, press the combination of keys you assigned to the macros
  2. Click View from the menu bar and select Macros
  3. Now, view Macros
  4. Under the Macro Name list, choose the macro you want to run
  5. Now, hit Run
Steps for deleting a macro
  1. Follow the path – View -> Macros -> View Macros
  2. Ensure that the location mentioned by Macros in incorporates the location of the macro that you want to delete
  3. Choose the macro you want to delete and click the minus button below the list
  4. When you will be asked to confirm the delete, click Yes
