None of the sectors in India are immune to the various disruptive changes in this current tech-driven world. Technology has been a key factor in driving away the inefficiencies and promotes the streamlined and effortless work flow. The only factor that the country is currently working on is to provide with a valid and sustainable system that can help to promote the notion of Digital India further. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI is paving the path for technology to revamp the Highway Network of India. This autonomous organisation has introduced their Highway Operations division which is being headed by Mr Akhilesh Srivastava, CGM (IT and Highway Operations) of NHAI.

He was primarily awarded for his work encircling the concepts of e-MB, e-Tender, Wayside Amenities and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC).
